Biography

Timothy Pittides, born in November 1978, developed a passion for art early in life. By age 17, he received his first professional commission, creating artwork for a local New York metal band. Since then, his career has flourished, encompassing collaborations with musical acts, record companies, magazines, and multi-level corporations.

As a product of the 1990s, Timothy drew early artistic inspiration from creators such as Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, Erik Larsen, and Mark Bagley. Over time, his influences expanded, drawing from various artistic disciplines, which helped him refine a distinct and mature style. Known for his meticulous process, Timothy hand-draws each piece, employing a stippling technique to place individual dots on paper. He also creates his own color separations, scanning and adjusting them digitally to meet specific needs. His dedication ensures that every design offers clients and collectors something innovative and frame-worthy.

In 2015, Timothy launched VICES, a series of film posters and art prints exploring human flaws and missteps. Each piece in the series blends 1920s–1930s aesthetics with macabre imagery and symbolism, creating a visually arresting study of human nature.

He has partnered with major studios including 20th Century Fox, Hammer Studios, Studiocanal UK, Warner Brothers, Universal, Troma Entertainment, and Morgan Creek Productions to produce officially licensed products for film and television properties.
